By Air : The best option if you're flying is to fly to Kangra airport. Bir is about two hours away from the airport and can be reached by bus or local taxi.

By Bus : An overnight bus to Bir is an option for visitors who fly into Delhi, the Indian capital.

By Train : Take a train from Delhi to Pathankot, then a bus or taxi (about 4 hours). The narrow-gauge Kangra Valley train to Ahju near Bir has run only in sections since a bridge collapsed in 2022.

Most visitors club a trip to Bir Billing by keeping Dharamshala or Palampur as their base. There are buses that go daily to Bir Billing from these two points, making it a budget-friendly option too.
